The Benjamin Foundation is a non-profit that focuses on family law and on father's rights advocacy and domestic violence victim advocacy. The goal of our foundation is to work towards happier, healthier children, and to mitigate the devastating consequences of separations and divorces and the effects that such outcomes inevitably have on children. Our goal is to establish a primary caregiver law, and to work towards establishing a system in which parenting plans are prepared prior to potential separations or divorces so that both mothers and fathers can equally share in the raising of their children without the burdensome expense of attorneys and the delays of legal proceedings and litigation.
The Roberts Ridge Foundation was established in honor of the seven heroes who gave their lives on Takur Ghar. The foundation works towards establishing scholarships for the children of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan and provide financial aid for medical procedures. Our hope is to provide a WISH FUND for the children of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. We adopted the motto of the USAF Pararescue Jumper; "That Others May Live" in honor of SrA Jason Cunningham, who gave his life on Roberts Ridge fighting to save the lives of others. We consider ourselves foremost a Pararescue Organization, yet our focus is very diverse, incorporating memorials to TACPs and CCTs and Royal Marines amongst many others. Fallen Hero Bracelets is the effort to raise money for these two organizations. We also support The Wounded Warrior Project, The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, The Sgt. David Coullard Memorial Fund, and Rolling Thunder, Inc, to name only a few. Please visit our Organizations We Support page to see the extended list of organizations we support with our effort.
The Benjamin Bracelet began as a simple representation of the bond between fathers and sons. These paracord bracelets slowly grew into something much more important. We began to design and weave bracelets in honor of Law Enforcement Officers killed in the Line of Duty. It was important for us to memorialize these fallen heroes, who were also in many cases fathers and mothers. This effort moved drastically in a pivotal direction, in regards to memorializing heroes. The Benjamin Foundation began a brief venture into memorializing fallen soldiers. This effort began simply by offering a bracelet for each branch of the military. It expanded from there, with specific requests for unit colors and the creation and design of several dozen bracelets in honor of specific military units, in honor of fallen soldiers and fathers and heroes all. Hours were spent going through casualty lists, trying to find a single soldier in a thousand, to dedicate a particular bracelet in their memory and honor. We now offer several hundred designs, for US Units, UK Units, Australian Units, and Canadian and French Units. We are constantly designing, and redesigning our collection. We cannot remember every soldier, and every name, but while each bracelet made represents the memory of a single soldier, that memory does not diminish the sacrifices made by the thousands of fallen heroes left unnamed, nor does it dishonor their memory in any way. We encourage large orders, as well as small ones. As well as requests from family or friends, or even requests for specific unit designs, or for a dedication to a fallen soldier. We will do everything possible to create a new design in honor of that unit and that soldier and dedicate that bracelet forever in their honor and their memory. We also offer special edition bracelets, with a stainless steel shackle and unit insignia. Please feel free to email questions, concerns, comments, or even simply the stories of fallen friends, or lost sons and fathers and even daughters. These are the stories that make us who we are, those stories make our loved ones immortal.
Our bracelets have crossed the globe, sales have taken our bracelets to every nation, every country and every state. We are humbled by the overwhelming response our bracelets have received and we hope to be able to continue to provide our dedication to this effort of memorializing our heroes.

Benjamin, Our Inspiration
The idea for The Benjamin Foundation came out of the love I had for my son. Benjamin was born November 10, 2010. I was his primary caregiver for the first nine months of his life, fulfilling my role as a stay-at-home dad while completing my Bachelor's degree and starting my Master's degree. Due to physical and emotional abuse on the part of Benjamin's mother, I left, never anticipating how terribly long and drawn out the custody battle would be. I was denied all access to my son for nearly two years. It was that overwhelming pain and loss and the love for my son which inspired me to create The Benjamin Foundation as an effort to help children gain access to both parents, reform family law practices, work towards a better system within the courts, and help father's in a system that promotes gender-based discrimination, and economic-based discrimination. The Benjamin Foundation soon became The Roberts Ridge Foundation, an effort to raise money for the children of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and to raise proceeds for nearly 40 veterans and law enforcement organizations in four countries. The Roberts Ridge Foundation began raising proceeds through the sale of paracord bracelets, dedicated in honor of our fallen heroes. Out of that idea came Fallen Hero Bracelets. To date, we have sold over 25,000 bracelets to supporters all over the world. We hope that in the year to come we can triple that figure and work our way into raising or prospects for our effort.
Recently, The Roberts Ridge Foundation launched a new effort entitled Bootneck.org. We will be designing a page on this site detailing the specifics of that effort until a time when we can build an independent site. Bootneck.org is our effort to help Royal Marines Commando and their families. We hope to team up with The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund and The British Soldiers Fund and The British Forces Foundation to raise proceeds that will benefit the families and children of fallen Royal Marines.
All of these dreams and visions were made possible because of a little boy who shared his life with me for nine months, whom I adored and loved absolutely, and who showed me what true love really was.
