LIESL THRESCHER WALDHAUSEN MEMORIAL PAGE
Liesl (Elizabeth) Trescher Waldhausen left this earth on Monday October 17. Born on September 14, 1989 in Charlottesville, Virginia; she was 27 years old. Her radiant smile and infectious laughter warmed our hearts and brought sunshine and joy to our lives and to all those who knew her. She was an artist who saw beauty in ordinary things and was joyful of all God’s creation. She was a gifted writer and chef. She could make gourmet meals out of a seemingly empty pantry and thoroughly enjoyed bringing friends and family together over a good meal. She had an adventurous spirit, loved travel and the outdoors and was an avid hiker. She had a great love of animals, especially Auggie her Lhasa companion of 12 years. She was fiercely loyal and protective of her family, friends and all those she loved. She had wisdom, empathy, and insight beyond her years. Those left behind miss her deeply: the love of her life Carter Brossard, her parents, Donna, Julie and John Waldhausen, her siblings, Tessa, Trewyn, Tristan, Justin and Taylor, and all of her extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Talaris Conference Center 4000 NE 41st Street, Seattle, WA 98105 at 2:00 PM on Saturday November 5. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Forgotten Dogs Rescue at forgottendogsrescue.com.
